Keynote Speaker
Lynsey K. Gibbons
Lynsey K. Gibbons is an associate professor of mathematics education at the University of Delaware. She started in education as an elementary teacher and mathematics coach in Lexington, KY. She received her M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from the University of Kentucky and her Ph.D. in Mathematics Education from Vanderbilt University. At the University of Delaware, she teaches future elementary teachers and instructional leaders. A deep respect for teachers and students drives Lynsey’s work as she seeks to understand how teachers can be provided with rich opportunities to learn how to teach in ways that respond to children’s brilliance and position them as capable sensemakers. In her research, Lynsey seeks to explore teacher learning through an organizational and systems perspective with special attention to professional learning routines, the roles of instructional leaders such as principals and coaches, and the role of coherent learning events that occur within the system.

NJAMTE Purchase Order and Refund Policy
NJAMTE allows everyone to register for a conference without payment at the time of registration; however, all registrations must be paid in full prior to the start of the conference. Conference attendees will receive an email confirmation after completing online registration. A payment receipt will be sent by email only following the full completed payment. Only those who have completed registration and have paid in full will be able to attend the conference. Payments are non-transferable to another person.
NJAMTE does not accept purchase orders for payment. In some instances, when an institution requires an invoice for payment, an invoice may be issued. In these cases, payment is due within thirty (30) days of the invoice date or before the conference date, whichever is sooner. An invoice is considered a completed registration with the intent to pay, and those who request an invoice indicate a commitment to making that payment in a timely manner. NJAMTE must consider the number of registrations when planning rooms and meals for the conference.
Conference registration includes NJAMTE membership for one year, beginning from the date of the transaction. If a member renews prior to the expiration date, membership will be extended one year beyond the expiration date. Memberships are non-refundable and are not transferable. Membership is not renewed until payment is received.
Attendees and presenters must be registered prior to the given deadline. If you need to cancel a conference registration, you may request a refund, minus a $5.00 processing fee. A request for a refund must be made in writing and received by 5:00 p.m. on May 15, 2025, by either mail or email to the NJAMTE treasurer, whose information is below. Requests after this date cannot be granted because of contractual commitments for food, beverages, and rooms. Please allow at least four (4) weeks for your refund to be processed.
